Alexeko Studio builds digital tools that support people in learning, in creative work, and in everyday life. The projects are chinalli, arteru and artipool. Among other things, they deal with language learning, working on your own artwork, and access to art.
Approach
The focus is on simple interaction, useful features, and calm design. Content should be laid out clearly, controls labelled understandably, and processes easy to follow. Which features an application gets depends on the job it has to do. The aim is to make it usable without a long learning curve, and to leave room for the content itself.

chinalli is a learning app that supports learning Chinese content through targeted repetition: confusion training for easily mixed-up words, exercises for character components and tones, and HSK courses as a filter. Offline, no account, no ads.
Art feedback with one concrete next step.
Online
A photo of your own work is enough: arteru describes how the image reads, names a single next step along with a success criterion, and then puts your revision right next to it. No grade, no score. Getting started is free.
An art portal for museums, galleries, and exhibitions.
Online
artipool brings together information about museums, galleries, exhibitions, art fairs, and art events. Profiles and exhibitions can be published there free of charge.
